7 Days; Day 4 - Skies

OK, so where I live is hardly mountainous but, as I sweat through the 'morning cycle to work,' I will strongly resist the charge of 'billiard table.'​

To be truthful, I'm not a big fan of the extremely flat fenlands per se, ​but here is an image made on the morning bike-ride. This kind of landscape really does make for great cycling and running but what I really love are the skies and the sense of space.

The sky seems to be a much bigger issue for me here compared to my life in cities. Whether is is a striking blue noon, a deep red sunset or a misty grey morning; there is so much of it and, of course, a tiny image on a tiny screen could never do it justice.

But it doesn't stop me trying....​
